ABOUT THE PROJECT
CultuRemedy is a culture and leadership consulting firm led by partners Bobbi Harrison and Lynette Odom. Their work centers on 1. helping organizations build healthier workplace cultures and 2. assisting individuals to develop compelling personal brands. It’s thoughtful work with an emphasis on relationship-driven strategy, soft-skills development, and conversation – often virtually and always with intention. They are passionate about making an impact and helping businesses and individuals “rise and shine” to reach their full potential and continued growth.
At the time we connected, they were in the early stages of building their business and bringing their website to life. From our first conversations about brand photography for their website and marketing materials, Bobbi and Lynette were clear that they didn’t want to rely on stock photography to explain their highly relational work. Using generic images felt like it would make a their remote facilitation work too vague, and strip away the very thing that makes their work effective: who they are, how they show up, and how they connect with people. Also, no stiff, corporate visuals and no generic “consulting” imagery.
What they wanted was photography that could support the growing momentum of their business, images that showed their faces, their dynamic as partners, and the way they engage clients remotely, rather than hiding behind abstract visuals.
PROJECT GOALS
- Visually translate CultuRemedy’s virtual facilitation work in a way that feels natural and credible
- Capture collaboration and group dynamics to reflect their people-first approach
- Create a polished, flexible image library for use across their website and LinkedIn
Because Bobbi and Lynette were both traveling in from out of town, we chose e|spaces in Knoxville, TN as a central location that offered flexibility without distraction. The space is clean and modern – a good visual match for their work.
We staged realistic virtual facilitation scenarios that mirror how they actually show up: leading conversations, listening intently, responding with clarity. We paid close attention to body language and the subtle details that communicate presence, even through a screen.
We also created in-person collaboration images to visually reinforce CultuRemedy’s ethos. These weren’t meant to imply that their work primarily happens face-to-face. Instead, they serve as a visual shorthand for the values they bring into every project: partnership. Bringing in a mix of family members and paid talent allowed those interactions to feel grounded and believable, not staged.
Professional hair and makeup by Bangs and Blush added a refined finish to the images and helped Bobbi and Lynette feel completely prepared to shine as the face of their business. Every choice, from wardrobe to lighting to pacing, was made in service of authenticity.
The Results
Wrap up
This project shows how thoughtful photography can bring clarity to a remote business, especially in its early stages. By moving away from stock imagery and focusing on real presence and connection, CultuRemedy’s visuals support their belief that culture and relationships are foundational, not optional. The result is imagery that helps the work feel clear, credible, and human from the first interaction.
If you’re building something new and want your visuals to keep pace, I’d love to connect.
