Headshot Photo Sessions

To discuss your session, outfits, background preferences and any special needs.
30 Minute Photo Session
With guided posing, a variety of backgrounds, and one outfit change if time allows.
High-res digital images
A collection of images will be lightly edited and delivered via digital download from a secure online gallery within one week. You will receive a general image use license to use your new images online and in print, anywhere, forever.

Your comfort is my priority. During the photography session, I'll help you with posing and expression so that we are capturing a comfortable and confident you.
A Corporate headshot
The corporate headshot can be more traditional but it doesn’t have to be boring. A good headshot is a great addition to your corporate profile and helps you create a professional first impression.
A Natural headshot
Some of the best headshots aren’t posed, if you would like to take a more creative approach you can opt for a look that captures you working, laughing. This type of look usually feels very authentic to your character.

Whether you dress for a professional look or a casual look, any editing that is done will be subtle and your photos will still look very natural.

If you’ve added styling services with Surseen, Anna will be in touch to schedule a consult with her prior to your session.
As you think about what to wear, consider how you will use your headshots, and select an outfit accordingly.
For example, if we are photographing a headshot for your company directory, your outfit may require a more professional look than if we were photographing for a LinkedIn profile, which could have a more relaxed feel.
While photographing, I will guide you in posing and expression to capture your natural look and personality. We will review images to get your feedback, preferences and make sure we are capturing photos you will love to share.
Your photo session will be at Sunday Studios in Knoxville, not far from the downtown area. Directions will be sent after you complete booking.
Digital images will be delivered with a broad Image Use License. You will be able to use your new headshots for any type of personal, professional, or commercial use – on your website, in your marketing, in digital or print form, anywhere, forever.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about Express Headshots
What if I need to reschedule my Photo Shoot?
These headshot & content sessions are only scheduled on certain days. If you need to reschedule, give me a call! If another time is available on that day, I’m happy to transfer your session fee to another time.
If you must cancel your appointment and I’m unable to fill your spot, your session fee is not refundable.
What is the turn around time for Photos?
Headshots will be delivered via digital download within a week of your session.
What if I don't like my headshot?
I want your to love your photos! In the studio, you will be able to view your image(s) during the session. That way, if we need to make adjustments and photograph another set, we can. During the session, we will also discuss the level of retouching you prefer. These steps keep your photography goals top of mind and final images inline with what you expect.
After your final images are delivered, please let me know if you are dissatisfied for any reason.
Can I bring a friend to my photo session?
Yes, you may bring a friend. Headshot + Content Days move more quickly than regular sessions, so we will need to stay focused.
How can I use the high resolution image files?
The quote and contract for your photo session includes language describing how you may use your digital files, this is called a usage license.
Generally, all headshots and portraits are delivered with extensive usage rights, meaning you can use them for any type of personal, professional, or commercial use – on your website, in your marketing, in digital or print form, anywhere, forever.
I need advice on what to wear for my headshot.
No worries, here is my What to Wear guide for headshots and portraits.
Another option I highly recommend is hiring a wardrobe stylist. I’ve worked with several and can make a recommendation to fit your style. Their guidance is top notch and their creativity and attention to detail can really take your look to the next level.
Do you retouch your photos?
Yes, almost all photographs look better with a finishing touch. For headshots, I remove any small imperfections and make sure that the color looks amazing.
We can discuss further retouching such as taking care of facial lines or wrinkles, weight reduction and others treatments if you desire.
will you display my portrait or headshot on your website or anywhere else?
I would love to share our work with other potential clients, but I will ask your permission first. If you prefer that I not share, post or use your images on social media or in my advertising, I will absolutely follow your request.
How long do you keep copies of all the photos taken during our session?
After final digital images are delivered to clients, all unused images are deleted.
Final digital images are archived and kept on backup drives. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to recover images forever. I will remind you at image delivery to copy your images to your own local back up as well.
